Beau’s Wish Dog Rescue is not accepting any new dogs into our program right now as all of our foster homes are full. If you’d like to become a foster, we’d love to have you! Please complete a foster application by clicking here. Thank you!

Beau was a beloved yellow Labrador Retriever whose unconditional love, devotion, and loyalty brought many years of joy to his family and inspired the creation of this charity.

Beau’s Wish is a volunteer based, non- profit organization that advocates for homeless dogs. We are not a shelter. Our unique rehabilitation foster program fills a very big void within the dog rescue world. The dogs that come into our program are rescued from kill shelters or transferred from other rescue groups and placed in our program specifically designed for rescue dogs suffering with anxiety, fears and phobias as a result of abuse and/or neglect. These dogs can be extremely difficult to place in forever homes without prior in-home rehabilitation, not in a training environment. The in-home component is essential to achieving successful adoptions. Beau’s Wish is dedicated to making that happen! When other humans let them down we won’t turn our backs on them, because in the heart of every stray lies the desire to be loved. Beau asks you to please rescue a dog instead of going to a breeder or pet store.

In an effort to help homeless dogs find their forever homes as quickly as possible, “Beau’s Buddy” features one dog (or bonded pair) that’s ready to be adopted. Visit our site each week and help these sweet dogs find homes!

~Beau’s Buddy~

Missy is a 4.5 year old female black lab mix, approximately 68 lbs. She is very loving and bonds easily to new people. Everyone who meets her falls in love with her! Missy is very well behaved and has been trained to sleep in a designated area. She is also house trained and knows how to use a doggie door. We believe she is mixed with a Rhodesian Ridgeback because she has a “ridge” in the fur down the center of her back. Missy likes being the center of attention so she would do best in a home as an only dog. She is good with both kids and cats. Missy has been spayed and is up to date on all her vaccinations. Missy’s adoption fee is $150.
